Cannot check on my account. Years ago did not need a password to check for new relatives. Please send me my password. No matter what I do cannot open. Very disappointed.

I and multiple other relatives have ancestors who held slaves in North Carolina in the 1700s. For many of us, the DNA from those slaves shows up in 23andMe as 0.4% Nigerian on the DNA painting Chromosome 4. The other services give results in whole numbers, so the African ancestor in us is lost. Recently Ancestry began providing chromosome painting, but that segment is shown as grey, but currently the ethnicity is not identified.

you say comment on our recent purchase but we have not done so in over three years. I hate companies that use electronics to do ads etc with incorrect info!!!! the electronic world sucks due to companies creating irrelevant emails and surveys. If you want to get these type of emails then use 23 and me. they inundated us with this years ago and now after silence for three or more years you want us to reply to our recent purchase.. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER RATHER THAN FRUSTATE US FURTHER!!!!

Pay for more

Interesting on what dna shows as far as familial roots from different countries but the pay to unlock more features is a rip off. Paige for health and ancestry and it gives you minimal health information but you can pay to unlock more.

I bought book a few months ago and I am happy with the purchase! Now I don’t have to go the computer to see information about myself. Simply go pick up the book and read the information.

i like the book about me, mostly because i have a lot of knowledge of DNA and family lineage, but most people don't, 23and me should connect the dots on the ample data that you supply, for example, write a summary of the data at the beginning of the book instead of the reader having to learn how to put the information into something understandable to them, like jim, your mtDNA that you can only receive from your mother and her mother, etc, is L3d1-5, this traces back to western afrika, found in people of the bantu tribe, this makes up about 2% of your dna, and thats more dna than you share with your 4th cousin, scientist rely on mtDNA trace your roots, the same for your Y dna(and then lay out what you did for mtDNA), so all in all, explain how everything links together, talk about their autosomal dna in a separate paragraph etc....good luck
