This company saved me and has help me improve my health as I age. I have alpha 1 and didn't know it. I smoked cigarettes for years and started having breathing issues. It got worse as I got older then I decided to purchase a DNA test and where the doctors couldn't find anything why, 23 and me found the cause. I showed my doctor and I shrugged it off as nothing but he said it was the cause and reason of my breathing issues because I smoked. I have quit smoking and take my medications thanks to 23 and me.

I hate to be negative, but I find 23andMe to be just about useless for genealogy since the chromosome browser was discontinued. I seldom log in anymore. If the chromosome browser were to be revived, I would upgrade.
