According to 23 and Me I am no longer .1% Indian (Asia), French/German etc. All of a sudden I have Scottish…paid all that money for nothing. Unreliable testing… Will not recommend to rest of family because testing is unreliable!!!!

I get E-Mail notifications sending me a link, but i can's get the information because it asks me for the registration number which i don't have as it was thrown out with the box years ago.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas paid in full up front and the health plus monthly service came with it. After multiple, multiple times on the phone with customer service they still would not release my daughter’s results and did not honor the monthly service. Buyer beware

Health report accuracy is about 50/50. It’s not reliable for much more than finding dna family and tracing ancestry.

The increasing precision of the ancestry analysis--focusing on smaller regions of the globe--is marvelous. And the medical side, finding DNA fragments associated with increased or decreased risk for assorted chronic medical issues, is a valuable planning tool. It's a pity I didn't have this sort of data 50 years ago, when I could have managed the lifestyle modifications to avert some of the issues of older age!

No Cherokee Grandma, but a Sub Saharan African one

Purchased to aid in genealogical research. Found it useful. Though most of my background was as expected, the trace info was eye opening. Instead of the expected "Cherokee Grandma" I discovered instead sub saharan African and Coptic Egyptian!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Brings family together

I bought this about a year ago to connect with family. But mostly to prove to a family member that my daughter was really my daughter by birth. It has brought us a little closer than before for which I am grateful. All in all this is a wonderful site
