Not worth the price

I honestly thought I was going to be able to see more detailed results for how much I paid. The ancestry part was interesting, but was honestly surface level. I expected more in-depth info about health traits or maybe more specific regional breakdowns. The layout was easy to use, but for the price, I was hoping for deeper insights or updates over time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't really give you any definitive information. It did have a lot of pay to see more options. Plus, I kinda wish I would've never used 23andme after I found out they were being scrutinized by Congress for selling customer's information.

I was not pleased with this product because I do not feel it is accurate. My results showed that I am zero percent Native American Indian. My grandma was full-blooded Cherokee Indian and I know this 100% from my family history. I honestly did not care to look at any further at any of the other information because if this is an accurate then how do I trust the rest of it. Also most of the things that it gave me were not helpful and the things I did want to know were not available unless I spent more money. I would not recommend unless you were looking for a distant 50th cousin that you don't know about.

I bought it a few years ago along with a kit for my wife and mother. We all loved the experience and ease of use. The results were astonishing and clear to understand

I bought this kit in 2017 so it’s not recent (even though I got an email asking me to review a recent purchase). My ancestry testing has not been updated since 2021, though my close family (mother and first cousins) have joined since 2021. And theirs have just been updated. I feel like so far this has been $200 wasted, to be honest.
