Bankrupt in more ways than one

I bought this and sent my DNA to them, and I provided data to help the algorithms they use. They recently went bankrupt and started selling users' data, which I do not agree with. I requested that my data be permanently removed from the servers, yet I still get emails such as the one for this survey proving they still have some of my data.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not sure of the value of the ancestry

My original ancestry on 23 and me data made me aware of my Irish history (37%) when I thought that Norwegian was my dominant lineage (20%). Now with the improved algorithm my Irish ancestry is 4%. So I am confused as to what it all means.

I purchased this years ago and it included ancestry with a famous person. My husband had his account the same time and it linked him with a famous person in history. Then it was taken off and our memberships no longer include it. I am not paying an extra fee to have what I started with.
