23andMe is a total scam.
Delayed my results for along time. I paid for a $200 plus value test that you had “on sale “ for $80 and I received the most basic test results (the lowest service according to you app) instead
Now I am receiving messages from 23andMe regarding “to follow in health conditions” that I don’t even have
Your customer service is really bad, you never had clear answers for the times I called for support
I am advising as many friends and family as possible no to use your services

Lack of response

My DNA report seems to be inaccurate and I know my parents are my parents, we look alike. Too much deviation from their DNA reports. I have sent a couple of emails, one of which breaks down my DNA and asked for an explanation of how I can show 0% Southern European when my mother shows 22%. I never heard back.

Sent two samples, one for me and one for my husband. Got an update that both were received over a month ago. I got my results but my husband's is still being processed.

I only got basic info about my genealogy. Any extra you have to pay extra for.
I did Ancestry.com.

Terrible for the price

I learned almost nothing, all the options like health, etc must be paid additionally, my family did 23&me years ago and it includd health option for them in the price. So value for money is WAY OFF.

The basic kit and service includes VERY LITTLE. After sending in your sample, you'll get bombarded with upsell and cross-sell offers, but I got nothing from their initial service. Their results dashboard is just a mashup of add-on components. Can't help but view this as a total waste of time.
