Impressed with the accuracy!!!

My profile results were both expected and surprising. From family members who knew our past I was able to confirm, I’m pretty white, but my point, ACCURACY!!! The results are absolutely accurate. I highly recommend 23andMe.

It doesn’t really break down what countries my ancestors came from and offers little to help. With the health stuff, it’s basically entertainment and I wasn’t aware that it’s not meant to be taken seriously.

Not what I was expecting!

I bought this after I read a lot of great reviews, unfortunately I am not happy with it. It doesn't offer much about dna, it's more due your health. I was wanted to know more about my family history and this doesn't offer much for that. I also paid for the year premium, which I thought was a great deal until I got my DNA back that I have to purchase more testing kits just to find out what ancestry includes. If you're a female, you have to buy a separate DNA kit to find anything out on your paternal side. I'm very disappointed and probably won't use the membership, kind of a waste of money.

My family knows their genetic make up... this was NONE of our make up that I could tell.... had people we know for fact we are in no relation to as well. Kinda odd. Oh well it was fun

Family tree is hard to fill in and confusing.

I have an ancestry.com tree going back three centuries which I had no problem building over the years. I find 23andMe tree very hard to build. I bought this for the medical history part and am satisfied with that, but overall am not enjoying using this site as a family tree.

Not much there to look at. A lot of cousins 3 times removed but no other data so I do not know who else is related to them that I would know.

I bought this a year ago and just kept forgetting to do it. I finally did it and honestly, it's a let down. Everything I wanted to learn is hidden behind a paywall. What did I pay for in the first place then?! This was not cheap as is and honestly, it's a waist of money. I'm no longer even interested in this after I got my 'reports' which were pointless. Everything I was interested in is behind a paywall and I'm not giving away even more of my money. Not worth it.
