The concept is neat but it's very frustrating that you pay so much money up front with false expectations that you will be given ample knowledge about yourself. I paid for the DNA kit, plus health and to gain access to most of the information it requires more money. Just another money grab and very disappointed.

The interface to see your results is complicated and unfriendly. I have avoided re-reading my results because I get lost within it.

My husband and I received 23 and me as a gift from our daughter with a 1 year paid membership for each of us. We sent in our saliva and since then we have been inundated with e mails stating that we need to pay for an additional year before accessing information. I have called customer service and have gotten the same response. I am not interested in upgrading or paying for an extended year.

Got this as a gift. It seems as though almost none of my relatives used this service. They used the other big competitor.

Not worth the money, hidden fees.

All the features I’m interested in cost an additional fee. Very misleading to offer a paid service for ancestry and dna info only to find out there’s additional fees. Very disappointing.

Wife and I both sent ours in and it's interesting to know where your family history originated. And you get to see all the people who share your genetic profile. You might know a couple of them.
