I got 23 and Me to see more about possible health risk factors. There are many systems of the body they can check genetically such as; Cardiovascular risks, Auto immune deficiency, and cancer screenings however, they want to charge you an additional fee for that information. I already have ancestry, which shows me my family history or DNA matches so I’m kind of disappointed that it wasn’t more. The kit cost about $100 and then they want you to pay additional fees for more information about your health? I feel like I was a waste of
money.

Great features and clear instructions

I bought the kit and was a little worried about how to colect the sample correctly. However the instructions were easy to comprehend. The results came faster than predicted. I am still trying to understand some of the results. There are topics that are more complexed end I need to take more time to investigate and understand. There are one subject that really concerned me therefore the 4 stars instead of 5. Ten years ago I tested positive to the two celiac genes in a blood test. However, on my health profile it said I am negative for booth genes. I intend to redo the blood test again to find out how would be the real condition regarding my celiac diagnosis.

I have no idea what I paid another $100 above the $150 cost of the kit! But overall I feel it was all a waste of money. Basically what I learned was I have a genetic marker to have diabetes. I've been diabetic for 20 yeard. I have a genetic marker to be overweight. I've been fat my whole life. The new one is macular degeneration. What a waste of money

The upgraded genetic reports I’d received gave me those most average information possible and the way the historical matches are laid out and described are quite underwhelming, those 2 features seem to be the only difference I even see. The upgraded membership should’ve cost no more then $29.99

I purchased this to find out my dad's family connections we were under the assumption of one last name but have heard through stories that it was another last name we're seeing great results and I was truly amazed on how much detail they give you but best of all how easy it is to maneuver through all this information I would highly recommend 23andMe in fact we bought another DNA kit to test me
