Have to pay for everything

This is a rip-off having to pay for every little add on in addition to the original kit. Get way more for much less on Ancestry.com. I don't necessarily trust their findings either and I am a scientist (with a PhD and MSc).

23andMe works exactly as stated and produced the desired results. As an adopted infant, I have always wondered about biological family. I discovered numerous and communicated with one. She seems nice but the part of me missing remains. I'm not sure if communicating with any other relatives will fill the void or if I'm too damaged.

My daughter purchased this for my birthday. I was excited to get a lot of results that I didn’t know about myself. However, there was really nothing in the report that was that revealing with the exception that I have celiacs disease, which I’ve always suspected, but never tested for. So now I know and am much more diligent in avoiding gluten. I’ve never felt better in my life!

I had originally received this product as a gift and really enjoyed its ease of use. The website was navigable and provided easily digestible information to help me understand the results of my test and telling me information I otherwise would not of known.
