This was nothing I expected and I feel like it was a complete waste of time and money. Don’t do it just save your money is not worth it

Ancestory gave me better data and more data related to my health and genetics. I am so disappointed with my health purchase and feel like I wasted my money. I have a large array of health issues and wanted more health specific information. I was inspired by my mother’s test results which she got for free from 23 and Me because of her Parkinson’s disease. My test looked like a joke compared to hers. It felt like a bait and switch to see the difference.

Disappointed About Pricing

I purchased the basic package on sale on Amazon. Unfortunately when I did decide upgraded my account, I didn't qualify for the plus one year free membership. Even though it was the same price as without and the special offer at the time. I called customer service a couple times about it and there was nothing anybody could do to help.

Ancestry results were not very specific. It just gave a general area of where my family is from like Europe. I wish it was more specific to what country within Europe. Overall it was okay. Nothing I didn’t already know.

Not really was what i was looking for. I am on the hunt for my dads side of the family and i didn't realize that you would only be connected to other people who have taken a 23 and me. overall, wouldn't purchase again.
