i expected lots more from this

i really expected a lot more from this. I need to purchase an upgrade to learn more. I could care less about for example, my dimples, you asked me if i had them. You asked me many questions. this is suppose to tell me about things i dont already know about myself and who i am and more about me and where i came from and ancestry

Rip Off!

I have done DNA with Ancestry.com and CRI and both were similar. CRI told me a lot. Then I spent $157 with 23andme and got the results after only about a week in the lab and sent the results which was suspicious when they said WEEKS. The report said I was primarily English and German but a major part FRENCH. No way. This is a SCAM. This is a Rip Off. CRI goes back centuries and I was pleased for a lot less money. 23andme is a SCAM.

Not Worth It

Disclaimer : I purchased Ancestry prior to this
I joined 23 & Me in order to connect with a part of my family that was not on Ancestry. I am glad it was on sale because it is not worth it. It feels like a giant questionare of an app. More focused on learning about you than giving you information. Not only that Ancestry breaks down your DNA paternal and maternal. Meanwhile, 23 & Me pushes you to get your parents to take a 23 & Me kit also or you cannot see this information. Also, many of the items I will call ' neat facts' are not even accurate. An example of this is saying based off of my DNA I have a 5% chance of having curly hair. These are based off of questions they have asked others and I can care less about that.
The only pluses about 23 & Me are my Native American DNA it shows, and the way it creates a family tree for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It has been interesting comparing these results with other DNA results I have. Very similar but with some definite differences.
