Wonderful!

It was very simple and I found or I should say my granddaughter found me and a big family she never new she had. We didn’t know about her either and we’re all so thrilled! This never would have happened if it weren’t for 23andMe.

100% really?

I waited 2 months for the results which stated I am 100% Japanese. I am very surprised because my biological father looked south Asian and I got a very hairy body even on my fingers when I am a woman. How am I not 0.05% of something else at least?

Excellent Product

I bought the 23 & Me kit more for the health profile. Already having a genetic condition, I was eager to see what else 23 & me may unlock. The test was simple. Make sure you provide enough saliva (and little to no bubbles), I’ve heard others lacked appropriate amounts of DNA.
The test travelled well, went through its process and I received results within a month or so. I started with the family tree and origins and read those reports. I then moved on to medical.
I love the fact you can participate in research questions too, which later help in scientific developments and advancements.
I would recommend this produce to anyone looking into their genealogy.

Too expensive for minimal features.

I got this as a gift. Was hoping for like a larger review of my genetic makeup health and all that but it ended up just being my genetic heritage for the price that you end up paying. It's not worth it when you get little pieces of what should be a full package. They just keep trying to overcharge you for a little extra things here and there.

Was expecting more detail

The results were largely what I already knew about my family. The perecentage of Chinese was higher than I expected so was interesting. The north Indian , Sind percenatge was known and along expectations. Since many invaders from Genghis Khan, The Mughals and Alexander apart from European colonisers have passed through North India I was expecting more detail within the broad category that your results showed. Am I missing something
