I bought this to confirm my dad is my dad
I'm 57, and he's 76.
We just met.
I'm not thrilled I had to manually add him to my tree, instead of him just being added to my tree by 23andMe.

I bought the serviced to confirm my Irish ancestry which it did. However I guess I had unrealistic expectations because I was expecting a lot more information. But I realize the information is limited to the pool of people who have participated

Money Grab ...

I paid for a kit. Sent in my sample. Received notice that my data was ready to review. HOWEVER. I can only view my data if I provide a credit card for renewal purposes next year. NOPE. not going to happen. I paid for my tests and I expect the results to be given to me without providing a credit card.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A bit confused

Thought I was paying to get upgraded to premium when I paid $125 on top of the basic traits pack. The last email I got (asking to leave a review here) said that I did indeed become a premium member. However, I still don't see the "Historical Matches" option available to me, and looks like now they are also asking to pay $69/year on top to make this feature available to me. I'm confused. Liked my basic "traits package," but anything on top of that quickly gets confusing.
