While the genetic results provided earth-shaking news to me, a 7% likelihood that I may have gout (a 100% certainty in my world for the past 25 years) tells me all the rest is statistics.

Super stocked to find out more about myself and this test really didn’t disappoint. The results came in less than 2 weeks after they received my test kit, and I got a ton of reports back.

Having been adopted at birth, there's always been a void when it comes to my lineage and background. I've always wanted to know where I was from and potentially if I have any siblings, etc. This product was great for part of that information, but it didn't answer all the questions. It would have been great if I'd known up front that the "Close Relative" report was extra.

If you want to find out many more things about yourself than your parents told you, I recommend 23 & me. I know where all my grandparents are buried. I was more interested in health screening but I found unexpected information about my genetics and origin. The service also located my third cousin in New Zealand, where he lives now. Our family tree was described with an astonishing precision. I’m blown away.
