Skeptical of Results

I got my results back and was shocked that the results showed 10.8% indigenous American, however according to tribal records themselves, I am 7/32 Menominee Indian and 2/32 Choctaw (per my degree of blood card issued by tribal authority). Total that would make me 9/32 which is over 25%. Skeptical of results.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Statistics Tell a Skewed Story

While the genetic results provided earth-shaking news to me, a 7% likelihood that I may have gout (a 100% certainty in my world for the past 25 years) tells me all the rest is statistics.

Super stocked to find out more about myself and this test really didn’t disappoint. The results came in less than 2 weeks after they received my test kit, and I got a ton of reports back.

Having been adopted at birth, there's always been a void when it comes to my lineage and background. I've always wanted to know where I was from and potentially if I have any siblings, etc. This product was great for part of that information, but it didn't answer all the questions. It would have been great if I'd known up front that the "Close Relative" report was extra.
