Great, interesting concept - misleading marketing

Do not appreciate the learning after purchasing that i can't view reports i paid for without reaching out to customer service first. Not everyone wants to give their credit card number for storage. Prime example, you had a data breach not even two weeks after i signed up. . !

Can’t be confident

I was excited to go through the information but was troubled by the nationality information that basically denied my German heritage. My father was second generation as his father and his grandparents came from Germany. There is plenty of genetic validation of him being my father, and virtual certainty of his heritage. So what could be wrong?

Shocking results!

I was thrilled when I received my results from 23 and me. I wanted to know about my ancestors and where my roots came from. My great grandfather was adopted. My other grandfather never spoke where he came from. That is why I decided and took the test. Not only they gave me very insightful information about my ancestors but they also provided me with valued information about my health and my predisposition to sicknesses. They also told me if I was a potential carrier of any genetic disease. They give you information of how you look like and what is the percentage you have to have “dimples”, “blue eyes”, etc. With the yearly subscription you get more updates about your DNA. They don’t stop working to continue providing information about yourself. This was the best purchase I could ever make. And I am so happy I can pass down what I have learned about my roots and my ancestors to my children.

The ancestry was fun to see but the family tree it showed was definitely inaccurate. It showed my grandparents with more kids that had children that aren't even real first cousins. That was disappointing and very confusing at first. Fi ding out my heritage was cool though. Hopefully that's accurate.

Nothing I did not know from another company

I like the information provide, but a previous company provided the same thing. I had hoped for more news. Additionally, I "really" dislike being bombarded by emails and pop-ups to buy new products even after I have already done so. This hyper-marketing is too much.
