I got this as a Christmas gift and I am so glad I did. I never knew or even imagined how much of the world I am apart of. It is absolutely amazing to see the parts of the world light up with your ancestry results. And even be able to see the smallest percentage possible! I even encouraged my grandma and great grandma to do it too! I can't wait for their results!

It's okay. Little too vague for me

It's alright. got it for my mom for Christmas and I wouldn't spend the money on it for anyone else.
I thought the results were super vague. If you go enough generations back for anyone they'll most likely be all pretty similar results.
Was hoping to see some more current results rather than 6-8 generations back.
My mom is from Mexico and it said we had 0% South American ancestry.
Disappointing is all I can say.

Thank you for your feedback. Our Ancestry Composition report will tell you what percent of your DNA comes from each of 31 populations worldwide. The analysis includes DNA you received from all of your ancestors, on both sides of your family.
These populations are based on where your ancestors lived prior to the advent of intercontinental travel, thus we do not have a Mexican or South American reference population. Individuals with Hispanic or Latino ancestry typically see a mixture of European, Native American, and sometimes African DNA.

A way to throw away money

This test was a waste of time with no results of any value to me. Most so called results I already knew.

Disappointing for those of predominantly one origi

If someone such a me is primarily from once ancestral group (British), there isn't much to be gained from this service. I think it is more useful for people of mixed or unknown ancestry. I was disappointed.
