Having tried three different tests the 23andme experience was highly disappointing. The platform is hard to use, the family tree integration unwieldy and the results seem limited. I found my entire family tree AND biological family in under two hours through one of your competitors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought 23andme mainly for the APOE genotyping feature, and after my genotyping, the rs429358 allele was not determined, so I could not know if I was an epsilon 4 career or not.
The other features are nice, but not as impactful to me.

I got this as a Christmas gift to myself. I didn't see anything too surprising about my health and I love that I can see where my family came from.

Only able to get cousin 3generation removed

Not helpful at all. Nothing closer than cousin 3 generations removed. Basically a cousin from my grandmother’s mother’s sister or even further apart.

I was glad of some of the information. Some of it was quite hard to follow. It is not easy at all filling in the family tree. I would say plusses and minuses on this product.
