Information is utterly useless and this was a waste of time and money. In the fine print it says results are 50% accurate … 50/50 is the same as chance. Ugh. In the examples of cancer, they do not test for the most common markers… why? Ancestry data also poor: “users with genetic data like yours report being from these areas.” Report?! Sample they use to estimate is to small and leads to vague, useless information.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this about a month ago. I don't really care for all of the reports. The information that I was looking for were genetic variants like MTHFR which I had to use another site to get.

Interesting, but not what I was expecting...

I really enjoyed the heritage portion of the DNA test. It was very interesting and fun, but I expected more from the health reports. They don't really give as much insight as they lead you to believe. I expected more specific results, and I think the way it's advertised is misleading. Overall, I think it wasn't really worth the cost.

I have 0% Italian in my family (although I wish I did!). My siblings have done 23andme; all are similar except the Italian part in mine.

My answers and the results are the same

I answered the questionnaire about me and the results are exactly the same. My answers are exactly what's in my medical records. Also, I am part Italian and Spanish. But the dna results are exactly what I answered. I was born in the Philippines so as my parents. But how my ancestors came about to live in the Philippines are not even in the result. A lot of Filipinos are mixed races, including my family. The results gave me answers that was given to us when we were kids in school. Haplogroups are like that because the earth had 1 continent at 1 point. The dna result is very vague. The health part is just whatever i answered.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
