Wonderful Discovery

I bought this a month ago and I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to discover a 1st cousin I never knew I had and a 2nd cousin who also was unknown to me and lives within an hour from my home. All 3 of us have delighted in this discovery and have talked on the phone for hours and emailed pics and shared stories. It's been a joy, especially during the boring days of the pandemic.

Surprises in your ancestry!

I would never have guessed that my DNA came from so many different sources. I was fascinated to discover that I had more inheritance from Neanderthals than 88% of the people who have taken this test.

I learn much more specifics than ever. I am so glad that I used 23&me, and yes, there are Dna matches in the Maternal group, and that is a big start for me.

I am so happy I got this for myself! I have always wondered where my family came from, and yes I checked EVERYTHING out and YES it was so correct! It is one of the best decisions I have ever made! The day my results came back I thought how could I read anything else?!? I studied it all and loved it!

Too much unassigned for such an expensive test

I bought this test a month ago and I overall liked the features and the ancestry results seem accurate. However, I got too much unassigned DNA. I think that if I am paying so much money for this, 23andMe should increase their reference groups' data samples so that Latinos do not get such high unassigned %. I have been reading complaints like mine from Latinos everywhere over the internet and I can't agree more with them. Work on that.

Impressed with the results

The 23andme DNA kit provided me with answers that I have had for most of my life. It provided results which led me to find out who my father was. Not knowing for over 50 years has brought closure and satifaction to me. Thank you.
