Family reunited!

I was adopted and didn't know anything about my biological family. My daughter bought this kit for me for Christmas. Within a day of getting my results, I was texting my birth siblings! What a great gift.

Surprise sister!

I adopted my two daughters from China. We knew nothing about their biological families and were hoping to learn whatever we could to help them understand their origins. Through DNA we learned more about their heritage and found some very distant relatives. Then last month, to our utter surprise, a full sister popped up as a DNA relative for one of them! The bio sisters had both been adopted from the same orphanage but never knew about each other. This discovery has been a great blessing to both of them, and we owe it all to DNA testing. Thank you for helping us expand our family!

Found my father!

I never knew my biological father growing up but I had his name. When I got the results from 23 and me I discovered I had an uncle and a cousin on my father’s side who had also taken a test. That led me to reach out to my uncle who then confirmed that my father was alive and he put me in touch with him. This never would’ve happened without 23 and me!

Found my father

I bought a kit during holiday specials in December 2019. Sent in my results and messaged the first relative that showed on my dna relatives screen once results came back. She’s my second cousin and I asked her about the surnames she listed as my alleged biological father had one of her family’s surnames. After multiple conversations I was able to do a dna test with her 1st cousin and after 11 years of me not knowing who my biological father was I have found out. It only took 1 week after me getting my results from 23andme that I was having a conversation with my now biological father.
