Not what I expected

I Actually was told about this service. I was looking for my biological father, grandparents, and the parents of my biological mother. 23andMe didn't help with that but I learned so much about my self and my ancestors. Yes i ordered the kit, I sent it to 23andMe and waited for the results. Thumbs up!!! Needless to say 2 years later Im still seeking my father and grand parent from my mother and father. Im 40 years of age and I never met 1 of my biological cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, ETC.

I bought this a few months ago and it has confirm that about myself already known and help me answer that I did not know, really love the updates on specific geographical areas with correlation to my DNA.

It's not the fault of the company doing the analysis - in this case, 23 & Me - that no information about my birth father is coming up. If I can't provide anything, there's nothing for them to analyze.
I'm still a little discouraged, though.
I had hoped... I dunno, something, that might have told me a little more about him.

You ADDed Paternal Haplogroup that I was happy about but you omitted the Diagram of L21 diagram of the Connection of M269 of King Tara although you have written about thev connection I was in Family Tree DNA of M269. As long as you have me omitted Sardinia & Balkan That was in the Timeline & Composition of the original results that I Have the Copy09/2017 of the original results of Southern Europe broken down. I will not buy the Book & other will not rightfully get the book too.

Knowing the real you

I love this whole experience! You hear stories of where your ancestors come from, but its all stories. With 23andme, these stories are brought to life and new family connections are made that for some reason through the years have been broken. I have contacted many new family members and have learned some amazing secrets we never knew about. It takes some work on your part, but my goal is to connect as many new dots as i can!

Enjoy connecting with family

The process was easy. The results confusing, I’ve always thought I was more, English, Wales and Danish. I guess Scandinavia would include Denmark. Trying to find the family connection with others in my dna group has been exciting. I know there are a lot of family out there. Would like to hear family stories. Enjoy geanealogy
