I was given 23andMe as a Christmas gift. The results were surprising and accurate. My mother had taken it a year before I had so we could compare. What's more, they DO update as more people take the test. My mother's has been updated and now includes a bit of Russian. I love how 23andMe zeros in on a particular country where your ancestors came from. I found out that by using one of those areas, I was able to find information on both of my Norwegian grandparents, great grandparents as well as Great great great grandparents! How fun! Also, am meeting quite a few new relatives through the DNA relatives tool. Can't say enough good about 23andMe!

After 60 years I found my family

I have been looking for my cousins for the last 60 years with no success. Last year, I did my DNA test through 23andMe. I released my information to public purview on 23andMe. Last month, someone contacted me because of the unusual name my grandfather had, and asked about it. I shared my Uncle's first name and the first names of my cousins I had been looking for. What a surprise, when she told me that my cousin was her grandmother. She shared my contact info with her, and we just got off an hour long conversation with my 'missing' cousins. They had also been looking for me for that period of time also. Thank you 23ndMe for bringing my family back to me.

23andme has been such an amazing experience! I had done my research on all the platforms and 23andme is by far (in my opinion) the best one out there & you get more for your money. I absolutely had been putting it aside for the longest until one day I just gave in & ordered two kits for my Husband & Myself. W/in 2-6wks we each received our results and we were happily surprised! It has really helped me discover who I am and also, connected me to more relatives as I am constantly building on my family tree. I have already invested in 5 kits (including the first two purchased) for more relatives. I am constantly raving about 23andme to relatives and everyone I know. I am looking forward to purchasing more kits in the future. Also, you can't quite beat their holiday deals! Its the best timing to purchase! What are you waiting for? Its time to find out how Unique you are, you won't regret it! :)
