I received my 23 & Me kit as a gift in 2017. I am extremely pleased with 23 & Me. I'm able to find information without paying an additional cost. I did the Ancestry test early this year and am do disappointed with their website! It's awful, in order to get our additional information we have to pay for it! So to me all Ancestry is interested in is making more money, not helping people.
So thank you 23 & Me for not taking advantage of people.

Raw Data and Confirmation of Ancestry

I have done extensive research on my family tree and I find that the ancestry mix shown by 23andme correlates very well with what I have found through family tree tracing. I have used the raw data to find many inherited traits. It has helped me with certain issues that I was not aware of having. I have increased my health quality by this research. Don't be spooked by "possible" problems you find. Do what you can to avoid them now that you know they exist. A few percentage points of possibility isn't really a big deal.

23 and me is everything i hoped for . I learned way more than i thought i would . But if the Police is after you this is not for you . I am glad i did it .

Good Ancestry Service

All in all the service has confirmed what I already knew, but it would be nice if in the ancestry sections like timeline if for those of us that know our paternal haplogroup listings should be in descending order, paternal first then the other ancestries.

it a very good website but needs a few updates. and it needs on the 23andMe a Thump fingerprint scan to keep are accounts safe on the app to where we log in with the app with are thump fingerprint scan to keep are account safe but other then that good safe website of 23andMe. great place to explore your story.

I been with 23 and me for about two years and was surprised to be 50% Southern European and 38% Mexican. I thought I was mostly Mexican.

Simple to do and easy. If you are wondering about you're DNA and what area you might have come from then 23 & me is for you. This is to me is a good detailed report. Try it and see what you can learn from it.

Knowing More About yourself

I recieved this product as a Christimas gift. I kinew nothing about my biological family, being adopted 50 years ago. Three weeks later......INSTANT family. This has been the best thing for me next to sliced bread. I can't be happier. I finally know who my biological mom and dad are. I have connected with family i never knew I had and have found out more about myself I never knew. Totally worth the money and the spit. LOL
