Excellent DNA Test! Very Accurate as far as I know

I purchased this DNA kit, spit in the tube and waited for the results. The family history that we DO KNOW for sure, showed up in the DNA test and was accurate! Part of it was "undefined" but I was glad to login a few months later to see that updates had been made and most of the "undefined" was now updated with information from different countries,backgrounds. Love this kit! Well worth it.

Finding My Cousins!

I was so excited to actually connect with cousins that I never had the pleasure of meeting in my past. Distance between us now allows us to communicate by email. Hoping to connect with more family members if they are willing to share, and also hoping to find a 1/2 brother and sister born to my father ina past marriage.

Great view of history and DNA

I got this as a gift and I'm very happy with the result, I found a blood relative that I've lost contact with for years and found her again and not knowing we are related back then. Thank you a lot, 23 and Me! I wouldn't have found her again if it wernt for you.

Satisfied With Results

I did a genealogy research on my bio mother and father's families, their ancestry. My mother's goes back to 1490s and back to 1700's for my father's. I compared that info. with 23andme (my test) and the ethnicity is correct. The country areas are correct. I would however like to see in the future as data improves, more detail about the broad european/broadly nw european. I also am thrilled that pharmaceutical companies have access to study the DNA and make improvements and make new drugs to help with diseases, etc.

Missing brother

I bought my brother a DNA kit, he got his results, they come up on my phone but I can not access them, it just won't load. he doesn't even show up on my computer. I'm extremely frustrated. Has any one else had this problem?

If you are not seeing your relative in your DNA Relatives list, they likely aren't opted in to the DNA Relatives feature within their account. Keep in mind that DNA Relatives is an optional feature that we make available to customers who have been genotyped by 23andMe. In order to view a match within DNA Relatives, both parties need to participate in this feature. Please ensure that your relative has selected to participate in DNA Relatives.

i bought this about 2 months ago. I was not let down at all. it was very easy to do the site is very easy to navigate. i knew a great part of what my family is and where we come from so when i saw my results i was reassured and had some surprises too, best thing was i got another test for my daughter and her results where updated and more accurate as soon as we connected. 23andMe was the best gift for myself and my daughter. i also gifted one to my husband and will be ordering one for my mom.

Extremely Successful in Finding Family!

My kit was purchased as a gift from my son to learn only about our heritage because I was adopted at birth. I was able to make connections that lead me to my birth father and 6 half siblings! After a time it lead me to my birth mother's side of my family and I found my birth mother and 3 more half siblings! My Mother had passed away but I'm connected with My father and now I'm the oldest of 10 siblings, 5 sisters and 4 brothers! They are all wonderful and we are all enjoying getting to know each other! I never expected to find anyone at my age of 60! It has been a blessing! Highly recommend 23 and me to everyone I know! Thank you!!!
