Not worth it

I found the program time consuming for the information given back, unless I wanted to pay more,

Thank you for your feedback. 23andMe offers two Personal Genetic Services: Health + Ancestry and Ancestry. Both services require submitting a saliva sample using our saliva collection kit that you send to the lab for analysis.
Our Health + Ancestry Service examines your genes to tell you about your ancestry, carrier status,* wellness and traits. I was very happy with 23andme. The kit came in about a week. When I mailed my sample back, my results were ready in about half the time they were expected.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was pleased with the level and degree of tests preformed. I wish more people would be willing to share their information, but I also understand that's a personal choice.

I absolutely loved this DNA test. I took the Ancestry DNA test first, with horrible results. Nothing even close to the ethnicity of my parents, or there parents.23 and me was spot on, would recommend this test to anyone who really wants to get the most out of there DNA experience!

From the advertising I hoped to determine finally if I have Jewish ancestry on my mothers side and Scot on my fathers...evidentially neither are of the 31 nationalities you have bases for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My husband bought me this kit for my birthday, and it was definitely one of the best gifts I've ever received! We're about to have our first child, so the medical information was comforting to have, and the ancestry information was just plain fun! It's amazing to find out, definitively, where you come from.
I would recommend this to a friend!
