The kit is easy to use, and they keep you updated on your results, and let you know when new people do theirs!
They have so much research, it makes me so proud to be apart of it!

I absolutely love 23 and Me

I have taken other DNA tests but feel 23 and Me is far superior in all the information that it gives you! The information is easy to understand and the site easy to use. I love being able to be part of the studies which are helping with genetics. I answer all the questions that come up in order to help with this. I like that we can easily browse our raw DNA and run SNP’s against it on our own. The health information for me has been spot on. I have recommended 23 and Me to a lot of people I know who have been interested in finding out who they are and all have been pleased with their own results.

Not enough for connections

No close connections for my family members nor myself. People very private on this site. Research appears to be be for advertisements and purchase information rather than research the persons involved

There were no surprises with my DNA results, but disappointing that my son and cousins did not show up as related.

My DNA Family

This June I had the pleasure to meet some of my DNA family at a family reunion. The new relatives were part of my grandmother's family who she never knew. My aunt and I traveled to Florida to meet the new relatives. They welcomed us as if we've known each other for years. I also learned that I have relatives near me who I would have never met had I not taken the opportunity to participate with 23andme. So thank you 23andme for connecting me to my family.

Great health results

About two months after receiving my DNA and health results from 23andme. A relative was diagnosed as having Thalassemia; and I left a message that I was very ill myself. I tried to calm my relative by telling her I gave birth to 5 babies without such complications. Thankfully my Health results arrive the very next day. It proved that I do not carry the trait. Money well spent.
