Man who would have thought!!!

Overall my experience with 23&Me has been a positive one. The kit was easy to handle and send back. The information in your reports is easy to understand. The information given is interesting and helpful. The only thing I wish changes is that grey pie piece in my DNA report! I know that there needs to be more people from more diverse areas who need to participate so that we can all get more details to our reports. So I hope that happens! I also wish the health and genetics was just offered together period because now there are other companies that are offering health DNA reports but do not take raw data from this company. Perhaps a partnership with one of those companies?? Your customers can get more information about themselves. The health info could save someone hundreds in health tests/screenings if they were told they had certain allergies in their genetic health report or even the cancer report. But, I really believe that this really could change race relations, norms, prejudice, discrimination because you know where you stand. You have the whole picture. That's powerful.

23 & me is a real eye opener to my ancestry it gives me do much information . Having had so many questions being of multiple ethnicities and not being clear only having oral history from family and being descendant of immigrants and just not clearly knowing the paths of my family and having roots going back to the transatlantic slave trade and Portugal as well left do many unanswered questions . The new avenues and DNA science has presented many answers

I received this for my birthday and was a little apprehensive about how it works; I am having so much fun once I started sharing. I am now connected to several cousins on both sides and it is so much fun!

My daughter and husband bought this for me for Christmas. I have discovered many relatives I had lost contact with, plus found lots of new ones! It is so exciting to experience all the contact with family!

In my reports, I was told that I have 1019 DNA family members. I have requested help 2 different times with no results. I have filled out several surveys but that is not getting me anywhere. It is hard to give any kind of positive feedback when I haven't had any leads to any DNA family and it has been 5 months. This kit was bought in December 2017. I feel this was a waste of money and time. I had such high expectations but got nothing but disappointment. It is hard for me to understand that out of 1019 DNA family members, there is no data base to contact relatives.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed w/ lack of country specifics

The results are much too broad with almost 99% of my heritage being British/Irish. I did Ancestry version for my father and there was much more detail.
