Really good educational tool

My son & I both had our DNA checked, it came back very close to what my great great Aunt had found out. My husband who adopted my son had his DNA checked & was a bit questionable since his mother is 100% mid eastern, yet he showed 30% Italian! Once he was connected to his Mom's DNA 23 & me sent a revised report since could narrow down more w her info. So I'm very happy with the service! Now time for our daughter's test!

I found the review interesting but also upsetting since it only indicated my Irish decent 73% (dad's side) and didn't really mention my French decent which is my Mom's half of the equation..

For Christmas I asked Santa for a link to where my ancestors came from, instead I was reunited with my birth mother after 48 years.

Smooth Process

My DNA results were kind of what I expected, but with a few little surprises that made me very happy. I enjoy how the results are broken down and have been researching my maternal haplogroup with excitement. Additionally, the DNA Relatives tool has been a huge plus as it has allowed me to connect to a few distant relatives that I would not have known of otherwise.
The entire experience was easy and I am very pleased with the results I received. I have recommended 23andMe to family, friends, and coworkers. Great product!

I wish that you could add relatives to the grand tree that have pasted away...no dna available. Also I wish the results were more recent, like the last 150 years.
