Advantage vs. disadvantage

The advantages are many and very interesting. Knowing not only who you are but who you aren’t is valuable. The main disadvantage is linking with other family members that have names and other information that helps establish a timeline with known names and dates. That would make 23andMe a complete knockout product for me.

I tried this because my friend bought an extra kit. I was shocked to see that I have so many relatives. And the info about my haplogroups was so impressive and important. I just think of how lucky I am to be here today. To be able to learn . Thank you very much.

I was disapointed the United Kingdom was not broken down into percentages Scots ..Irish..English ...Also on my sons report the Finnish was removed after a week strange And please of all the famous people i get Jessie James a outlaw and killer i think someone better could have been found !

Thank you for your feedback. The population labels in Ancestry Composition refer to genetically similar groups, rather than nationalities. In general, we sought to make the populations as small as possible, subject to the constraint of being able to distinguish between them. Populations may be inherently difficult to distinguish because of historical mixing, or we might not have had enough data to tell them apart.

Interesting Window on the Past & Future

This system results enlightened me on my origins, confirming my beliefs, but giving the weight of fact to my story previously only handed down across the generations. I find the most interesting aspect of this program to be the OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE SURVEY FEEDBACK to allow future research on genetics. I have enjoyed providing massive detailed feedback which will allow future research efforts to prosper. I encourage others to answer all the research questions. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Glenn

Finding the missing link
