Wonderful Expierence

I had wanted to do a ancestry test for so long and am so glad I picked 23 and me! It gives you so much detail about where your ancestries may have come from. With the new 150+ regions coming very soon, I am glad that it is being done for new customers and those who have already submitted their DNA awhile back. So excited for all that this site has to offer!

Really Insightful, even if I am a bit boring

I got this kit as part of a study. It didn't reveal much I didn't know(other than a bit of Fennoscandian DNA) but it was amazing seeing the spread of where I come from and how my DNA shapes me. There's not much information on Native American DNA, and being Latino means I'm a mutt, but it's amazing seeing the map clean up over time as more data is added.

My husband and I are really pleased with the product -reports- delivered. They're very informative, detailed and well presented .. we are also thankful for the follow-up the Co. does once in awhile without being too pushy ..

I believe your employees must be using contaminated materials when doing the DNA testing.

Congratulations to 23andme for the phenomenal work that they developed by allowing us to have a "printscreen" of our genetic structure, allowing us to know our genetic origin and the links and similarities that we have with our relatives. In addition, by providing information about possible links between our genes and diseases or syndromes that might affect us, this test becomes an exceptional tool to prepare or even change our habits to minimize or prevent the onset of such diseases. Congratulations to the brilliant minds behind this project. The future will reward this as one of the most brilliant initiatives ever undertaken in the medical

Bought 3 dna kits

My dna kit doesn’t have as much info as my dad and first cousins on my mums side. They were all the same. I’m disappointed that my info doesn’t have as much info as my fathers and first cousins have. They have the The variance report , and mine doesn’t!

Other tests are better

The most difficult part of this is that there is no way to upload a family tree so you can compare matches with others. Most people do not add any surnames, locations, or anything else that would help to link to others. I have a number of 3rd and 4th cousins who have not replied to me about anything. Very disappointing.
