You Might Want to Sit Down

Excellent, accurate, insightful...I was fascinated by my ethnic composition AND I also found out that the man who I had known as my father for 44 years is not my father and that my mother had an affair way back when. My siblings are my half-siblings and I may never know who my father is (thanks Mom). Better to know the truth about yourself than to live in darkness. Now begins the mystery of finding the missing pieces to my personal puzzle.

Overall my experience has been average. I received a report with lots of Broad and also unassigned designations. Hopefully the upcoming upgrade will provide a better understanding.

I am adopted and knew a little about my mother but absolutely nothing about my
Father. 23andMe showed me not only my mothers relatives but also my fathers relatives and let me message them!

I was raised to be 100% Mexican. So it was a suprise to me to find out that i am 21 races. My family do not believe me.But how can you go against science .I did the research and it all comes together like a puzzle. Thanks 23andme.

learned that i have african ancestry and scandinavian also that i never new i had m! very interesting to learn ! found out i have ashenti jewish relitives too ! i am a little bit of eveything and plesantly surprised ! well worth the effort of doing it ! highly recommend it !
