Interesting Results

My 23andMe results were interesting to say the least! I found out I am 13% Euro, which I think is a lot being that I am a brown girl! :) I also found out something amazing that I never knew, PLUS a whole lot of relatives, some of which are near and dear to my heart! We've formed bonds, and I wouldn't change a thing! The ONLY thing I hate is that 23 doesn't update our Ancestry Composition much/often! Great experience!!

It's very complicated & the research is pointless. Why do I care if 25% of people in my hepilog group has back hair? Or are neanderthal!

I like the possibility of my ethnicity estimate changing overtime. I always get stuff I'm supposed to not be. 23andMe also shows something that AncestryDNA doesn't show, the percentage of shared DNA with that person. My supposed close family only did AncestryDNA which never shows the percentage of shared DNA. Thank goodness I got my parents a 23andMe kit because I want to know how alike I look to my parents (Shared DNA).

Easy to harvest a sample to send

Sample collection was much easier than I expected. Everything went smoothly and the results were sent quickly and easy to evaluate. I would encourage anyone with any perceived family health issues to go the extra mile to look into them. This will be a game changer in the years to come.

I received this kit as a gift and was super excited at how easy it was to use, send back and get results. I love how you are given an understanding of where you are from and characteristics of your DNA makeup.

I found my birth mother after 57 years!

As an adopted child, l never had any background info on myself. So l purchased a ancestry and DNA test. The day my results came in, l heard from a cousin from my birth family! Not only am l going to meet me actual birth Mom, but the information gain fron the DNA answered many questions.
I would recommend this to a friend!
