Somewhat Disappointed in Results

I had expected more exact info such as what ancestry is now advertising " came form County ?, Ireland was a fisherman with blue eyes". Not so concerned about the eye color but I know that my Maternal Great Grandparents came from County Sligo, Ireland.

It's fun, and a learning experience

I'm sure the more people that do this the better and more accurate it will be. I had fun going over my background. Funny thing is my daughter came back with no close relatives and I know for a 100% certainty that she is my daughter.

My daughter signed me up for this service after completing one for herself. I have found it very interesting, and would like to know more. I am adopted and would like to find my biological relatives. I also would like to know about important health issues that may affect me and/or my children.

This was a Christmas present to myself...yay me! I am slowly unlocking clues to finding my biological family. I finally have a little clarity...a little hope after 40+ years of knowing nothing!

Gripping

My results were surprising being almost 100% European. I was kinda disappointed, but I greatly appreciate and do NOT regret buying a kit. I love how it tells me the path of my ancestor haplogroups. I had trouble understanding the painted chromosome area, and what each chromosome does for us. EX. "chromosome 1 determines hair color".
