Not worth the money

Waste of $100.00, I already knew 2 relatives already, saw no one new that comes close to my data.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback. Keep in mind that the number of relatives will vary for each person and will grow over time as more people join 23andMe. As new matches are found, they are continuously added to your DNA Relatives list.

It is so fascinating to know where my people came from. How cool is it to know where in the world you originated from. I have 308 neanderthal variants! My last name is German and I'm predominantly Irish! I never new. My maternal grandfather is Chinese but now I know he lived in Canton! Not that I needed it, but this really gave me a sense of where I am within the world if that makes sense. And to think I have nearly 1200 DNA relatives! What a small world. I'm one of 3 million men who can trace their lineage to an Irish High King! Totally excellent personal history I never knew existed!

I recently purchased two new tests having submitted my own about a year ago. I am giving one to my wife and another to a son in law and plan on purchasing a couple of more to also give to my other son in law and also to a cousin who is a recently retired Lt. Col. with the 101st Airborne.
