loved 23 and me. Very easy process for buying it, it came in the mail quickly and once I sent it off I had my genetic info very fast. Love it!!

Fun experience with some surprises

I always wanted to investigate my heritage to see if what I was told over the years was true. While the bulk of what I knew turned out to be true, there were some ancestry lines that were surprising. Also the test for health variants in my genetics was informative and fortunately for me, reassuring, for me as well as my children.

I had little to no knowledge about my ancestry and decided to try 23andme. Took around 6 weeks to complete and I was able to track each step in the process. I was really impressed with my ancestry report and even learned that ~4% of my DNA comes from the Neanderthals. I would recommend 23andme to all my friends and family.

I bought this about a month and a half ago and got results within 4 weeks. I got A LOT of good ancestry and genetics information about me and my family. I was very surprised about some of my ancestry information. I have already recommended tennis to a lot of my family and friends.

The nominal price for this wealth of information is truly amazing. When I was growing up, $100 was rather difficult to come by, but these days, it's a drop in the bucket. Most anyone, with a bit of effort, can save up the necessary amount of money.
