Not knowing my birth parents has always created a shadow on my health future. This service gives a modicum of answers to the question what health issues may be in my future?

Knowing my family tree is one thing, but seeing the genetic bits I actually received from my ancestors is fascinating! I did the ancestry and health version, and seeing my predisposition to certain things helps me focus on prevention, if at all possible. I would definitely recommend getting both.

I got this as a gift. I love how easy it is to do. Now with my results I can actually put my family together. I can't wait to have all my family take tests. Also everyone. Liam's they are from somewhere. I can prove mine.

I've been using this fort over a month and have thoroughly enjoyed the information my results and reports have given me. I know that many things about me are connected to my genetic make-up now, not just my own personal choices.
I love to see science in action and I especially love seeing the family connections around the world!!

Self-Discovery!

My son bought 23andMe as a Christmas gift for his Mother - me! He knew I had been interested in the product after seeing it advertised on television. I was particularly excited to see how much native American ancestry I had since I had always been told that I was part Cherokee. To my surprise, I learned that only 0.1 % of my DNA can be attributed to that ethnicity! I am continuing to study the reports and am considering learning about the results for my health as well.

Good Promises

More real data for the $200 would be nice, About the ancestory so I'm Northern European not a very hard guess and not too exciting and and our the 65 triats are mostly novelty and trivial. Limited useful data in my case.
