I tested with 23 and Me a few years ago and I was happy to learn about some of my health traits as well as my ethnic admixture. I like that 23 and Me updates the information it shares about your ancestry such as what time period your 100% West African, British, Iberian, etc ancestor were likely born in. What I think needs to be improved and what I would like to see in the future is more specific detail with African ethnicity.

My mom was adopted so I had no idea of my maternal lineage. Through 23 and me I found my aunt (moms half sister). My mom had no idea that she even had a half sister when she passed away.

This has opened up my history of our family....my grand parents we knew little about and having fairly common last names we could not go further in research ... thank you we've been able to break this jam and figure out who we are...

Great Health Testing

I was mostly buying the health kit for the carrier status tests. I was happy with the tests that are included. In the short time that I've had my results, they've included a new test and updated some other results as their system incorporates more data. I'm extremely happy that they update the older kits and show you which ones have changed.

Very Interesting Process!

I ordered 23andMe to get a better look at my DNA background. I was really surprised by my results. I am really interested in drilling down further and creating a family tree to see who I'm related to. Should be fun!

I had my DNA done with you in 2013 and have been impressed with the the amount of research that you do starting with the updates on my site.the world of DNA has come a long way since 2013.I have discovered many family connections by the Sharing Connection.The one thing that I would like to see happen is that more members would at least respond to our queries.I understand that many are looking for information that they would like to keep private and I also believe that most of us would respect that request.I happened to be looking for information on my biological father and was able to make a very discreet contact with a member it is still a work in progress.I thank you for the updates that I receive on a regular basis,the Blogs and the opportunity to print out for my own use the Reports on the latest findings.Thank You.
