Website is very slow, difficult to manage family members and to compare.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Im not happy with privacy tools..cant use info between ipad, imac and iphone. The info itself was not very exciting either. I expected much more medical info.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You receive 65+ personalized genetic reports to help you understand what your DNA says about your health, traits and ancestry.
In addition, the 23andMe site has been redesigned, offering updated tools and features, better functionality, and new content.

A Great Gift

I got 23andme as a christmas gift this year. The whole process and experience was wonderful and getting my results back told me so much about myself that I had not previously known.

Super interesting and fantastic explanations

My fiancé ordered the heath and ancestry test for us both. Ancestry composition was the most interesting to us. The explanations in the reports were excellent! I think we could have done without the health test, but it was a really great value and interesting. Overall, I would highly recommend the testing from 23 and me!

Great service providing knowledge to users. I would like to see additional reports added for understanding potential medical concerns. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in their heritage and health.

Learning about myself

This was a Christmas present for my husband and I, a wonderful gift. It let me see my genetic makeup. Being American, it's sometimes not easy to track lineage. A lot of my families records are lost. It's spurred a lot of discussion and family lineage and also about the importance of scientific research. My husband and I are so happy we did this.
