I bought the kit about a month ago and my results were ready in 4 weeks! I'm very happy with it, however database isn't large enough and hints aren't specific when you try to find relatives
I would recommend this to a friend!

DNA testing kit was a gift. I have done genealogy research for years on my ancestry without success of nationality discovered. Thanks to 23andme my suspicions have been confirmed! ! So very blessed from their services, plus the added benefits of ability to connect with others with similar test results.

Because of World Wars and other forced migration issues on both sides of the family, I relied on word of mouth conjecture on my heritage. Turns out, some of the stories were right...other were not! It was fun to have some family history filled in. I shared the info with my folks and siblings. Some in-laws have since ordered the 23 and Me kits for themselves!

This test was one I've always wanted to do. Got it as a gift. Just wish my Eastern European heritage could be traced.
Each time I go on the site I find something new. So very interesting for a genealogy buff!
