It was a very interesting experience. My family thought I am 100% British,but that turned out to not be the case. Even though in present times my family has always lived in the same area it was not so in the past.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A little disappointing

I just found myself a little disappointed with the vagueness of the results. I think its most likely the best they can do with the information but be prepared that it is not very specific.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not Accurate

I do not see how this test is accurate. The make up of my heritage was way off. It's a fun novelty but not accurate or worth $100.

Thank you for your feedback. Our Ancestry Composition report tells you what percent of your DNA comes from each of 31 populations worldwide. The analysis includes DNA you received from all of your ancestors, on both sides of your family. Some populations are inherently difficult to distinguish because of historical mixing, or we might not have had enough data to tell them apart. In these cases, your expected ancestry may actually be included in the broadly assigned ancestry for that region. The Broadly Assigned label is assigned when a piece of DNA can be found with some frequency in multiple regions.

Good but there are limits for people of color

The process seems to be efficient and timely. A word of warning for "ethnic" groups, the report isn't as detailed as the European reports.

The Results are IN

My daughter gave this to me as a Christmas present, I thought I knew my heritage, there was a lot more there than I ever could imagine. Dad was always saying we were Spanish (from Spain) turns out he was correct, but there was so much more and from different areas I never knew. So I going to Spain and see where I came from, the adventure begins.
I would recommend this to a friend!
