Very accurate

I am Hungarian and both my parents and grandparents are Hungarians. The test accurately showed that I am Eastern European back for 3 generations. It was amazing to see that back 7 or Generations where my ancestors were from. Its really fun to play with the results:)

Less than expected

I really thought the results will be more specific as to what country or countries my ancestry was from. My results listed a couple of global regions that were so broad that they almost seemed worthless!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback. Our Ancestry Composition report tells you what percent of your DNA comes from each of 31 populations worldwide. The analysis includes DNA you received from all of your ancestors, on both sides of your family.

I was amazed at the detail in the 20+ pages of reports I received. Very happy with the decision to participate with 23andme. I have shared my reports with all my siblings and coworkers.

Got this in a Christmas grab that nobody seemed to want. What a surprise....found out I am not what I thought I was!!! Now everyone wants to try 23 &me!!! Only wish parents/grandparents were alive to explain how they were so misinformed! Great fun, highly recommend
