A Guide for the Perplexed

While I have been thrilled with the 23andme experience, the product could be improved. The plethora of data is fine for an engineer like me, but I pity the person that becomes lost in the forest of data. The summary should be a more user friendly document that explains the product in plain English. An editor could fix this!

Very accurate

I am Hungarian and both my parents and grandparents are Hungarians. The test accurately showed that I am Eastern European back for 3 generations. It was amazing to see that back 7 or Generations where my ancestors were from. Its really fun to play with the results:)

I really thought the results will be more specific as to what country or countries my ancestry was from. My results listed a couple of global regions that were so broad that they almost seemed worthless!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback. Our Ancestry Composition report tells you what percent of your DNA comes from each of 31 populations worldwide. The analysis includes DNA you received from all of your ancestors, on both sides of your family.
