Was very easy to use, the "spittoon"! Unlike previous testing I've been involved with, no blood drawing! The results were very interesting, I would like all of my family to join in. I would like to know: would this "connect" me to a distant relative, same-last-name, if I got her to join 23&me? Her ancestors are also from Southern MN area.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you are a bigot, prejudice, or discriminate you probably won't like to actually see your ancestry. I, on the other hand, am absolutely thrilled to find out where my ancestors are from. I had no idea I was a minority and a majority or that a Neanderthal skull, that I was mesmerized by, in a cave on Gibralter could belong to one of my ancestors.

Too general in nature lacked specifics of where and when and just relied of flow charts of natural history of man

Thank you for your feedback. To view a full list of the reference populations, please click the blue "See all 31 tested populations" link under your Ancestry Composition results.
The population labels in Ancestry Composition refer to genetically similar groups, rather than nationalities. In general, we sought to make the populations as small as possible, subject to the constraint of being able to distinguish between them. Populations may be inherently difficult to distinguish because of historical mixing, or we might not have had enough data to tell them apart.
