I am so glad my husband and I did this at the same time. It was one of our Christmas presents to each other. We loved the surprises! 23 and me presents an extremely thorough set of reports with high level and deep explanations... all designed so crisply and easy-to-understand.

Easy, Quick and Exciting was My Experience with 23

The shipment of DNA collection materials came quickly after ordering. The instructions were easy to understand. The results came in less than one month by email. The results were like opening presents on Christmas morning. I was thrilled with the possibilities and with the results. My whole family has been asking about my results and where I got them. I told them about 23andMe so they could make the same choice I made. Thanks 23andMe!

Shocking Results

I was brought up thinking I was 25% Spanish because my mother told me her father was Spanish Her maiden name was Gonzales. It turns out I had zero Spanish. Now the mystery, who was my mother's father?

Helpful if there is a problem

Although the sample kits are easy to use, we got mixed up and ruined one kit. I called customer service and they were helpful and understanding. They sent a replacement kit right away. We received our results in around a month and were happy with the process.

I'M 64 and all my life I was told I was part American Indian. I am not any part Indian. My mother lived her whole life believing she was Cherokee. It's good to know your heritage.
