A little confused...

It was exciting to see the report. There are familiar relatives on here.
So my mom bought the kit as well to compare ours.. Her relatives have links to me. But on her profile they're not linked to her. So I'm really questioning the accuracy of any of the information.

Thank you for your feedback. If your mom is not seeing relatives, she likely isn't opted in to the DNA Relatives feature within her account. Keep in mind that DNA Relatives is an optional feature that we make available to members who have been genotyped by 23andMe. In order to view a match within DNA Relatives, both parties need to participate in this feature. Please ensure that your mom has selected to participate in DNA Relatives.

I found no real relatives on this platform, so really was a waste of resources for me. Perhaps you can do better elsewhere.

Much Easier Than I Imagined!

From the moment I made the request for my kit, the 23andMe process moved steadily forward on the stated timeline. Emails along the way provided me with an ongoing status from process origin to results. The invitation to pen this review suggest that science is really at work here with real process improvement--Plan Do Check Act (PDCA). I am hopeful that reports will continue to be written with an acknowledged view towards the full spectrum and range of knowledge and expertise.

Easy to read

It’s actually perfect would highly recommend 23 and me to anyone I wish I could tell you the whole story behind my experience with this test but it’s a long story I have to say to anyone who is not a believer like I was don’t knock it until you try it cause this stuff is real and I got proof with mine, I do need to thank my son for giving this to me as a gift

An excellent way to learn about family history

I have discovered a number of relatives through 23&me, and have been able to fill in various blanks in my family history and family tree. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about my genetic background, and using the information to supplement what I have learned about my family through historical documents.

I am so happy that I purchased this product with the health. I get updates all the time. Whether it’s family, health or new info on my ancestry composition. Definitely recommend this product.

My background is definitely a shock. It doesn't coordinate with my ancestors. It is pretty confusing. Also I only have 1,400 relatives with 23 & only 133 of them are from my dad's side of the family. Another family member did ancestry and has over 12,000
