Amazing!

I ordered 23 & Me to learn about my health background because I was adopted and didn't have any medical history. Not only did I find answers to medical questions, I found links to my biological family.
On my 50th birthday, I met my biological Mother, 5 brothers/sisters on her side and 4 brothers/sisters from my biological fathers side of the family. My biological father had passed a few years earlier. All of this was made possible by my match with a 2nd cousin on 23 & Me. She reached out, we figured out the connection. I am so thankful she reached out to me.
I grew up with 9 siblings. I now have 18 brothers & sisters and could not be happier!!
I am so grateful for 23 & Me bringing me and my biological family together!!

I bough kit to find my DNA relative and Genetic predispositions because I was adopted. It has been a great help and pointed me in proper directions.

Comprehensive Testing and Invaluable Insights

I wanted to know how much I need to plan for retirement -- what is the likelihood that I will have Alzheimer's or Parkinson's? How much care will I need and what will that cost look like? This testing has put me at ease about my future. Of course, these variants are not conclusive, but they do guide me in the right direction. Additionally, I feel great about contributing to the genetic community so that other diseases, traits, and variants can be further researched.

I found my birth parents thanks to 23andMe

I am very pleased with the results I got from this test. Through the DNA Relatives, I found a 2nd cousin and many 3rd cousins, and with some applied genealogy I was able to identify probable matching ancestors and narrowed down my search for birth parents to two sets of grandparents - I was able to find genetic cousins linked to all four of them. I recommend this test to anyone who is looking for lost relatives. I also did the health test, and I was pleased to find out that I passed.

I thought I was getting just ancestry information but it's been so much more. There's always more to learn. Even though it's been a few months since I did the spit, I still get emails about updates. You can tell they're working to deliver a better and more precise product.

I Found my Family

I am so happy I tried this website. It opened a whole new world for me. My mother was adopted and I did not know my biological father (did know his name) and after completing the DNA test come to find out who I thought was my father was not but i was able to find his family and even though I will never meet him because he passed away i have so many great cousins and a new uncle and aunt that are very welcoming. My mother also completed this, She found her birth father family and all her new sisters and brother. What's so very cool is her sister on her fathers side went to the town my mother was born in and looks at records. Come to find out my mothers mother was also adopted so we thought it was a dead end. Well they searched a little more and actually found her birth mother. She contacted her and the tears could not stop flowing . On my mothers Birth mothers side we fund out she had many more siblings. My mother traveled to Canada to meet all of them on both of her parents side. So this has been a life change for both my mother and I. We always had a very small family and now our family is huge and I am so very appreciative for 23 and me without this opportunity we would have never known our Relatives. I recommend this DNA test to any and again Thank you

I wanted to know my DNA stuff. This told me my DNA stuff. Is it 100%? Probably not. But, it's close. Very close. I love how they update your results when they get better sampling sizes.
