Fun and informative

I checked out my DNA entirely to satisfy my curiosity ... and while there were no great surprises (my family tree goes back 13 generations in this country) I was able to dispel a myth that there was Native American blood on my mother's side! Overall, a fascinating complement to my sense of self and connection to my ancestors.

I was hoping for a more specific breakdown than just "You are 97% Eastern European." I also felt that their predictions such as whether your earlobes are attached or not or whether you are a light or heavy sleeper was really "padding" the information. One already knows these things about oneself --- you don't need to submit a saliva test to find out. I realize that this test has the potential to reveal fascinating information, and useful medical information (especially if you are planning on starting a family) but for me, it told me nothing I didn't already know. I thought it was overpriced for what I, personally, got in return and I was very disappointed.

Answered every questionnaire they sent out, there were more then a few, ano got vague info back. Then they asked me for more money to get more in depth info.

Medical Info is Worthwhile

My husband chose this product for us because he was interested in the medical information. It was worthwhile. I would have liked more ancestry information, and perhaps the state of the knowledge/techniques is not there yet. All expectations from the company and the product including the website was exactly as expected which was a good experience. The receipt of the product and results were received before expected. The networking was worthwhile.
