me on a new relationship with my 23 yo son. it got me into geneology so well i traced my name back to 1797 on my father's side and the early 1500's on my mother's side. i haven't found any relatives on my father's side but I've just started making contact.

I recived this as a gift from my daughters. I know very little on my mother and her family. Sadly that is still the same. I thought the trates are intersting and I loved the break down of my dna and where is its from. But I dont have parents alive to put in to the system. I found that upsetting and unfar. I am sure that i am not the only person like this that is unable to research this. And it would be Very VERY helpfull if the info could be read back to the client. to help make sure its understood.

I have been wanting to do the DNA testing for a long time and finally bought the kit. It was easy to use and the directions were very clear. I really enjoyed seeing my results and all the places my families were from. I also have enjoyed connecting with relatives I didn't know I had!

I took the dna tests hoping to find a relative on my fathers side of the family. Sadly I found nothing. The DNA results showed absolutely nothing on my paternal side at all. It did give me maternal information which I’m glad of but I already know my moms side of my family. I truly wish it would give all information instead of limiting it to only one side of the results. If I could have added relatives from my paternal side I would have but I know no one. My siblings don’t share the same father so I couldn’t even have them take the dna test because it wouldn’t show anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

23andme has connected me to relatives I didn't know I have. One relative, we went to school together. Never knew we were related. Very cool. The health portion, also very accurate and interesting. Everyone should purchase this!

My father I had no idea who his father's father was so I had no grandfather my mother was adopted at would not reveal who the parents were so I took a DNA and all of it was correct and then some baldness I color skin tone play enjoy eating everything

Great Features and Easy to use

I Purchased this kit about a month ago and I've been on it every day. I've met so many family members, it's amazing. And fascinating part is the DNA tracing back thousands of years. I even learned that I have a Paternal lineage with Rameses lll, which is awesome because I've always felt connected to Egypt and the Pharaohs.
